The main feature in the library is light in its different forms. The square volume, almost entirely glazed with white U-Glass, is punctuated by a piece of transparent glass.
This floods the interior with a filtered light that is particularly comfortable for reading. The transparent glass frames the views of the surrounding neighbourhood.

The library’s nocturnal presence in the neighbourhood. Its glazed façades turn it into a great urban lamp, thus acquiring its symbolic character as a lamp of knowledge, a cultural container at the service of society as a whole.
