When we were asked to be part of the rehabilitation of an icon of modern architecture in our country, we perceived it as a great responsibility.

Antonio Bonet Castellano was one of the leading exponents of the artistic and architectural avant-garde in our country. Architect, urban planner and designer. Worked in Paris with Le Corbusier. He was part of the Austral Group. He created iconic furniture such as the BKF armchair.

The interpretation of the site, a watercourse on the Costa Brava and the trapezoidal shape of the terrain permeated the entire project. Bonet adopted the tile as a generic form for all the formal concepts of the house, with three trapezoidal vaults on the main floor and an inverted vault at the top. These geometries put the plasticity of the period enclosures to the test.
