Casa Fornells, a home that breathes tradition and innovation.
The house is located facing the seafront, with breathtaking views, on a narrow and long plot.
They manage to adapt to the topography by playing with the division of the house into three volumes, which are staggered to elegantly fit into the context.
The greatest technical challenge of the entire project was solving the junction between two windows of different heights.
To ensure that both sashes could open, we had to divide the frame of one of the windows, making one part embedded in the stone step and the other sliding alongside the window leaf.
The house unfolds in front of the views like a fan, creating straight and diagonal perspectives.
The continuous porch makes the interior-exterior relationship pleasant and generates an intermediate space that contributes comfort and spatiality to the project.
